No one should have someone else's face. Our names mean so much, right? There is a name I would never give to anyone and so, I'm sorry that you suffered.
<whitemamba>
I've been through worse, don't worry. Takes more than a missing face to bring me down.
< hiiiiiiiiii >
Still, would a visit be all right? I wonder if there are things I can do for you? Certainly, it seems wrong not to want to look after you some.
<whitemamba>
If you'd like, but I'm not exactly healed yet.
< hiiiiiiiii >
It is all right. It is my hope to be a servant for you so do not worry about entertaining me. :)

private txt;
[He couldn't quite believe it, yet how could the boy have become a monster? None of it made any sense. He wanted to discuss this over a private channel, since Diamond Dogs was still secret.]
I thought you died.
Re: private txt;
Nyoka ya Mpembe. Liquid Snake, now, actually. But yes. That was some time ago.
[Luckily for the sake of secrecy, Diamond Dogs means nothing, here. Until now, Liquid was the only piece of where they came from.
He was kind of liking that particular fact.]
Nice to see you had such high hopes. I don't die easily.

The White Mamba. Liquid Snake, huh? Guess you like snakes.
[Who didn't? Venom liked them too.]
We didn't want to leave you there. We had no choice. You were infected.

[Him, his father, his brothers.]
Oh, I didn't expect you to wait around for me. I expected to kill you, and die on my own terms. Obviously, that plan didn't go so well.

[Snake didn't want to go into the fact that the DNA test proved that Eli wasn't actually his son. That could come later. Right now, he had questions about monsters.]
Good luck with that. We tried. Back at base. We wanted to help you break free of war and being alone. Diamond Dogs could have been your home but you threw it all away.

<whitemamba>
There was a bit of an incident. I'm alive. Not sure if some people were so lucky.
< anotherface >
You seem to constantly find yourself into trouble. How is it that you do that?
<whitemamba>
I'm not quite sure. It must run in the family.
< anotherface >
Don't compare yourself to your doofus father.

<Problemsolving>
<whitemamba>
How about you, how are you holding up?
<Problemsolving> | Also, I suppose possible warning for anyone reading should it go talk of torture
But I was worried. You handled it well, but I can't imagine it being easy, even for someone more experienced.
I'm well enough, considering. I'm not sleeping as well as I'd like, but I know it will come in time.
<whitemamba>
It's never easy, but if it becomes something akin to being routine, it's easier to go back to things as normal.
It always does. Until things normalise, do you know if they have any sort of sleep medicines or anything here? If you're having trouble, it might be a thing to look into.
<Problemsolving>
Is it so routine for you? I'm not sure how much it's safe to ask. I know it's not something you'd actively want to speak about very much.
I've tried, but sadly, human medication is very hit and miss for me. Some painkillers work, but I haven't found a sleep aid that's done the job. I think the capture is just still very recent.

Well, obviously, the fog god is the one who brought us here and caused us to become what we've become. As much as I've adapted to my new form, I still don't appreciate being changed against my will. The fourth god opposes the fog, and, well, knowing all that's happened... is that not reasonable?
But I'm not one for conversions and the like. Make of things what you will, this is just one man's opinion.
<dog>
People here are a lot less fanatical than I'd expected, considering I'm seeing a lot of friends on both sides of the conflict. How do they manage something like that, considering how they've pledged to destroy the other in a war?
<whitemamba>
I have nothing entirely against her followers if they don't intend to do anything to me. I'm sure many are easily brainwashed. It's the god herself who I have a problem with. Those of us who are in similar situations aren't going to just fight each other at every opportunity.
<dog>
I was under the assumption that the end goal of every follower was to completely destroy the other. I suppose I'm... glad to hear that it's not necessarily the case. It would make life pretty intolerable, when death isn't permanent.
